Meet the Staff

Here at Valley Heights we have a wonderful and diverse staff. Each and every staff member is kind, caring and ready to make sure you have everything you need. 

Richard Murphy, the Owner of Valley Heights, would like you to know that as a resident of Valley Heights, you will be served by a variety of staff members.  This list will introduce you to some of the departments and what general responsibilities they have.

The General Manager is responsible for the total internal operations of the facility.  He is readily available to assist residents, families, and staff with any issue pertaining to Valley Heights.

Our Marketing Director works with all potential, new, and current residents and their families.  She orients new residents with contracts and moving-in details, and supports all residents and their families with respect to day-to-day living at Valley Heights.

The Front Desk Supervisor and the Front Desk Staff is responsible for the front desk operations which includes coordinating appointments, scheduling transportation, issuing work orders, sorting mail, answering phones, etc.  Generally, all requests begin at the front desk.

The Chef oversees the planning and preparation of your meals: breakfast and dinner, plus special luncheons and social hour appetizers.  Please talk with them about any special dietary needs you may have.

The Chief Financial Assistant will prepare your monthly statement.  If you have questions about your billing, please contact her at the Front Desk.

Our Maintenance Department will attend to maintenance problems in your apartment.  If you need maintenance, contact the front desk to report the problem.  A work order will be completed by the front desk staff then given to the maintenance crew for repairs.  The maintenance department can also provide personal labor for you at an hourly rate.

The Housekeeping Department is responsible for overseeing your weekly housekeeping.  Please contact the Housekeeping Supervisor if you have any questions and concerns.

The Dining Room Supervisor supervises the dining room staff and is responsible for all aspects of dining room operations. We offer breakfast and dinner daily.

Our Personal Care Provider (companion program) will attend to any personal needs you may have such as medication reminders or escorting to meals.  Any additional charge will appear on your monthly statement for services provided.

The Activities Department is responsible for the in-house activities (such as exercise, bingo, hallway hoofers, & trivia contests), planning and organizing resident social activities (outings, social hour, entertainment, games, contests, etc.), and the monthly Activities Calendar and Valley Voice Newsletter.

Other staff and volunteers in all the departments are here to accommodate you.  We want you to feel safe, happy and well cared for.
